Printable Ring Sizer
Download the PDF for your paper size. Print at 100%, then verify the 50 mm line with a physical ruler before measuring.
A guide you can put a ring on
Each one-page file includes US 3–15 half-size ring circles, a scale check and alignment instructions. A4 and US Letter versions use the same physical measurement geometry.

Print, check, then measure
- Match the paper size. Use the A4 file for A4 paper, or the US Letter file for Letter paper.
- Choose Actual size or 100%. Turn off Fit to page, Shrink and any other automatic scaling. Printer margins may differ, so check that the complete page is visible.
- Check the 50 mm line. Compare its marked ends with a physical ruler. Stop if it does not measure 50 mm; changing the scale would change every circle.
- Compare the ring opening. Lay a round ring flat on a circle, matching the inside opening to the centre of its thin printed line. Use the US label as a reference, then compare international sizes in the chart.
- Keep the raw size as a reference. Compare the result with the seller’s chart and fitting advice. Without a ring to compare, use the phone estimator or the separate paper-wrap method.
What this printable ring sizer can tell you
Verified printing makes the page’s nominal geometry usable for comparison. It does not prove that your printer, alignment or reading is accurate. The PDF has been checked digitally; physical printer and finger-fitting validation has not been completed.
Circle labels use the same US reference table as the website. A ring’s inside opening and a finger’s circumference are different kinds of measurements. For an alternative without an existing ring, read the illustrated wrap instructions before converting the result.
Size references: GIA ring sizing reference and Peter Stone diameter reference. These PDFs are independently generated from the website’s reference data; they are not a jeweler’s branded sizing kit.

Method and sourcesCan I print a ring sizer on A4 or US Letter paper?
Yes. Download the version matching your paper size and print at Actual size or 100%. Disable Fit to page and other scaling. Both files use the same circle diameters and 50 mm scale-check line.
How do I check that the PDF printed at the right size?
Measure the line marked 50 mm with a physical ruler. If the printed distance is not 50 mm, do not use the circles for sizing. Recheck the paper and print-scale settings, then print again.
Can I use the PDF on my phone screen instead of printing it?
No. A PDF viewer can zoom or fit the page to the screen, which changes the physical size of the circles. Use the homepage’s screen setup for an on-screen guide.
Which edge of the printed circle should match my ring?
Place a round ring flat on the printed page. Match the inside opening to the centre of the thin printed circle line. The nominal diameter is measured along that line’s centre; the metal band stays outside it.
Can I use this printable guide without an existing ring?
The PDF provides circles for comparing an existing round ring, not a cut-out finger gauge. Without a ring, try the homepage’s phone estimator or follow the separate paper-wrap instructions using paper, a pen and a ruler.
